2009 MAN VINTNERS, CHENIN
BLANC (STEEN), COASTAL REGION, SOUTH AFRICA $9.99 I used to drink a fair amount of "Steen" when I was living
in London, the British love their Steen, as they call it. The Super-fresh 2009 is light with mineral and citrus flavors, a
fantastic deal in South African Chenin Blanc. Only $8.99 per bottle by the case.

-RED WINES-
2008 ROCABERDI, VINO TINO, CATALUYNA, SPAIN $8.99 60% Garnacha & 40% Mazuela (Carignan) grapes.
After traveling 6000 miles to the store, this delicious red wine is still only $8.99, how do they do it? A lighter, fruity,
dry red wine for any occasion. Pizza, pasta, grilled chicken, just enjoy. Only $8.09 per bottle by the case. 2008 FRANÇOIS CHIDAINE, ROUGE,
VAL DE LOIRE, FRANCE $12.99 1/3 Cabernet Franc, 1/3 Cot (Malbec), 1/3 Pinot d'Aunis grapes. From 100% estate biodynamically farmed vines, this is a very promising wine. Known primarily for
making some of the greatest white wines in the Loire region, Chidaine has been farming these vineyards
for several years. Good dark concentration of fruit where neither varietal dominates, but rather compliments
the others. The faintly mineral nose shows notes of pepper melded with the red fruit and leads into a wine with medium tannins,
good concentration and length. Not a heavy wine, it has plenty of character, and bright acidity, which makes it a classic
food wine to go with difficult pairings.
-DESSERT WINE- 2004
CHÂTEAU GRAND PIQUEY, SAUTERNES, FRANCE, 375ML $15.99 Château Grand Piquey is located just next door to
the more famous Château de Malle & Château Bastor-La Montagne. Sweet flavors of vanilla and fig, made from
Sémillon & Sauvignon Blanc grapes. Affordable Sauternes.
BROADBENT, MADEIRA, RAINWATER, 375ML, PORTUGAL
$11.50 The ever so under appreciated Madeira, late night sipping wine at its best. Madeira is a volcanic island 400
miles off of the north African Coast and was discovered in 1419 by Portuguese explorers. Medium-sweet, a long finish and you
can easily keep the bottle open for a week. ______
