-BORDEAUX-
-WHITE WINE-
2010 CHÂTEAU SAINTE MARIE, ENTRE-DEUX-MERS $15.99 This wine is a serious
overachiever in the region that has historically been dominated by over-cropped vineyards, huge yields and chemical viticulture.
No pesticides or herbicides are used here and vineyard density is 2-3 times the norm. Plowing of the soils is a given and
the results are evident in the wine. Layers of minerals, sappy texture and crisp acidity follow a nose that leans towards
sauvignon without being vegetal. Skin maceration pre-fermentation helps develop complexity and tension that is uncommon for
the appellation. Citrus and melon dominate the nose with some cut hay. 50% Sauvignon Blanc, 40% Semillon & 10% Muscadelle
grapes. Excellent! -RED WINE-
2009 CHÂTEAU SAINTE MARIE, BORDEAUX SUPÉRIEUR $18.99 This family owned property is located
in the heart of the Bordeaux winemaking region in Entre-Deux-Mers. The wine is made from 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon
and 10% Cabernet Franc grapes and spends 12 months in small French oak barrels. This is a rich, full-bodied dry wine with
loads of ripe fruit flavors and is soft and smooth on the palate. This is clearly a steal for red Bordeaux in this price range.
Match with red meats or strong cheeses.

for the holidays. 2003 CHÂTEAU D'YQUEM,

2009 DOMAINE MANCIAT-PONCET, MÂCON-CHARNAY $16.99 100% pure Chardonnay from Burgundy, fermented
in stainless steel tanks, light green apple aromas, beautiful minerality, this is what Chardonnay is supposed to taste like.

2008 DOMAINE
CONFURON-COTETIDOT, BOURGOGNE PASSETOUTGRAIN, $18.99 Half Pinot Noir & half Gamay grapes from Burgundy. Poor mans
red Burgundy at its best with just enough stuffing to pair with many a holiday fare. Red cherry fruit flavors with a very
light pepperiness. One glass is just not enough, too inviting.
2009 DOMAINE MANCIAT-PONCET, MÂCON BUSSIÈRES
$17.99 2009 GHISLAINE & JEAN-HUGUES GOISOT,
BOURGOGNE, CÔTES D'AUXERRE $22.99 The Romans were planting vines in this area of France in the 2nd century A.D.,
now that's a long time ago. 100% Pinot Noir, highly recommended! Organic and Biodynamic, only 20 cases came to the west coast,
luckily I snagged a few. Lots of wine for the money.
2007 DOMAINE PIERRE LABAT, BOURGOGNE, VIEILLES VIGNES $29.99

-CHAMPAGNE-
AGRAPART & FILS, BRUT, BLANC DE
BLANCS, LES SEPT CRUS $37.99 Agrapart is a small family owned winery that has been making Champagne since 1894. All of
their grapes are hand harvested and they produce just 2000 cases of the "non-vintage brut" per year. This dry Champagne
is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes.
NV AGRAPART & FILS, BRUT, BLANC DE BLANCS, "TERROIRS" $44.99
NV LOUIS ROEDERER, BRUT PREMIER $49.99
Why not splurge a little on this fantastic French Champagne? I concur with Wine Spectator Magazine's review: Delicious.
Smooth and complex, revealing flavors of yeast, berry, ginger and citrus, allied to a firm structure. Ends with a firm, tactile
sensation and an aftertaste of candied citrus. Drink now. 90 Points.

-LANGUEDOC-ROUSSILLON-
- ROSÉ WINE - 2010 MOULIN DE GASSAC, GUILHEM ROSÉ, LANGUEDOC $9.99 We were so confident that the weather
would finally take a turn for the better, that the sun would return to its proper place in the sky, that we stocked up on
some delicious, and affordable, rosés. Moulin de Gassac Guilhem Rosé from the Languedoc region in the south
of France is a great place to start. Produced by Mas de Daumas Gassac, which some critics have referred to as the Lafite of
the Languedoc, the Guilhem rosé is a blend of syrah (55%) and grenache (45%) and comes in at a very tame 12.5% alcohol,
which means it won't overwhelm you or your light summer menus. A gorgeous, pale watermelon pink -- think Jolly Rancher candies
-- gives way to strawberry aromas and flavors. Crisp and clean in the mouth, it's the perfect wine to have on hand when hosting
friends on the deck or enjoying some grilled fish and a summer salad. Priced at 9.99, it's a bargain. Don't be shy. This is
one wine you don't want to run out of. -
WHITE WINE - 2009
PAUL MAS (CLAUDE VAL), CHARDONNAY, VIN DE PAYS D'OC $9.99
2010 MOULIN DE
GASSAC, "GUILHEM", VIN DE PAYS DE L'HERAULT, FRANCE, (ORGANIC) $9.99 A blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Clairette
& Grenache Blanc grapes. These 25-50 year old vines are farmed organically on the mediterranean shores of the northern
Languedoc. Fresh, floral nose with citrus, melon and some spice. Lively acidity and good minerality follow through on the
finish to keep you coming back for more. Refreshingly unoaked, drink this with any seafood, especially oysters, cheese and
lighter fare.
2010 DOMAINE DU CHÂTEAU, PICPOUL DE PINET, COTEAUX DU LANGUEDOC $10.99
-RED WINE- 2010 MOULIN DE GASSAC, "GUILHEM", VIN DE PAYS DE L'HERAULT, (ORGANIC) $9.99

-LOIRE-
-SPARKLING WINE-
BAUMARD,
CRÉMANT DE LOIRE, "CARTE TURQUOISE" $22.99 Made from Chenin Blanc grapes with some Cabernet Franc, this
classic Loire Valley dry sparkling wine is a tasty partner for cold appetizers and pairs wonderfully with chilled oysters.
The Baumard estate dates back to 1634 and they are highly regarded for this special cuvée called "Carte Turquoise".
FRANÇOIS CHIDAINE, MONTLOUIS SUR LOIRE BRUT $21.99 François Chidaine sells out every bottle of
wine he makes within just a few months of bottling. Montlouis is just across the river from the famous Vouvray appellation.
This unique sparkling wine is relatively dry, made from 100% Chenin Blanc grapes, and would be just perfect for Sunday brunch. -ROSÉ WINE- 2010 FRANÇOIS CHIDAINE, ROSÉ,
VAL DE LOIRE $13.9-SOLD OUT- 50% Pinot Noir, 50% Grolleau grapes. A perfectly balanced blend of these
two varietals. A nose of gooseberries and some floral notes is followed by a medium-full wine. Excellent acidity and beautiful
tension bring up the solid mineral core. Very refreshing, but surprisingly complex, this is from 100% estate biodynamically
farmed vines. 300 cases total imported to US. -WHITE WINE- 2010 FRANÇOIS CHIDAINE, TOURAINE, SAUVIGNON BLANC $13.99 Classic styled
Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc from the master of Montlouis and Vouvray. Most of the fruit comes from Chidaine's biodynamically
farmed vineyards while some fruit comes from reliable local sources. Minerals and citrus are packed into this beauty that
shows surprising length and complexity for the appellation. This is a great lower-priced alternative to the popular sauvignons
produced in the eastern Loire Valley.
2010 DOMAINE SYLVAIN BAILLY, QUINCY $16.99 The region of Quincy is
also know for Sauvignon Blanc and makes a style which is typically creamier and softer than the other wines of the region.
The Bailly family have been wine-makers in Sancerre from father to son since 1700. They have had a bit of practice you might
say!
2010 HENRY PELLÉ, MENETOU-SALON, "MOROGUES" $19.99 Menetou-Salon is just South of
Sancerre and makes a Sauvignon Blanc that is a touch herbaceous and often floral with flavors of Grapefruit and minerals.
This pungent wine is a great partner for the goat cheeses for which the region is so famous. 2010 DOMAINE SYLVAIN BAILLY, SANCERRE, "TERROIRS" $24.99 The Bailly family have been wine-makers in Sancerre from father to son since 1700. This is a classic styled
Sancerre from Bailly's vineyards in and around the village of Bué, one of the greatest villages in the appellation.
