Made from 100% Moschofilero grapes.

-ROSÉ WINE-

2008 GAIA ESTATE, ROSÉ, "14-18", PELOPONNESE $17.99 - SOLD OUT -
The 14-18 dry Rosé is made from 100% Agiorgitiko grapes. This Rosé has a dark red-cherry lozenges color and drinks more like a red wine and pairs well with main course dishes.

-WHITE WINE-

2008 SKOURAS, MOSCHOFILERO / RODITIS, PELOPONNESE $10.99
Just arrived, one of the best values in Greek dry white wine, lightly aromatic with flavors of citrus, pungent and crisp. 60% Roditis & 40% Moschofilero grapes. $9.89 per bottle by the case.

2008 MORAÏTIS, "SILLOGI", PAROS (ORGANIC) $16.99
The Mediterranean Island of Paros is located in the Greek Cyclades Island chain just North of its more famous neighbor, Santorini. The Moraitis family winery has been involved with Paros and its wines since 1910. This crisp, dry white wine is a blend of organically farmed Assyrtiko and Malagouzia grapes and makes a wonderful partner to seafood, lightly seasoned poultry and pork dishes.

2008 KOSTAS LAZARIDIS, "AMETHYSTOS", DRAMA $18.99
Greece continues to shine with crisp bright white wines. The Kostas Lazaridis winery is one of the most modern wineries in Greece and is leading the way in the wine region of Drama. This is an aromatic white wine made from Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and Assyrtiko grapes from Northern Greece. Amethystos begs for hot fried calamari with a chilled dipping sauce!

2008 TSELEPOS, MOSCHOFILERO, "MANTINIA" $19.99
In January of 2007 I traveled to 13 different wineries throughout Greece. The Tselepos winery is not only one of the most impressive properties in all Greece but has some of the most incredible vineyards that I have ever seen. Yiannis Tselepos is certainly the master of the Moschofilero grape. This wine is considered to be one of Greece's best and I highly recommend it. Very fragrant, fresh and pungent, a bit like an off-dry Gewürztraminer.

2008 MERCOURI, "KALLISTO", REGIONAL WINE OF ILIA, PELOPONNESE $19.99-SOLD OUT-
Fresh, aromatic and delicious. Made from Robola & Assyrtiko grapes, only 50 cases imported, limited.

2008 GAIA ESTATE, "NOTIOS", PELOPONNESE $16.99
50% Moschofilero grapes from the Arcadian Plateau and 50% Roditis grapes from the Corinthian slopes. A crisp refreshing fragrant white wine that's just in time for the hot weather. If you enjoy Sauvignon Blanc this is a great alternative. Think fresh Calamari, chicken and lighter summer fare.

2008 GENTILINI, ROBOLA OF CEPHALONIA $21.99
100% Robola grapes from the Island of Cephalonia. Mineral and citrus-like flavors.

2007 GEROVASSILIOU, MALAGOUSIA $29.99
Evanghelos Gerovassiliou is generally credited with bringing back the rare Malagousia grape from extinction. This is a unique Greek white wine with excellent complexity and should not be missed.

2008 SPYROS HATZIYIANNIS, ASSYRTIKO, SANTORINI $19.99
A blend of Assyrtiko, Athiri and Aidani grapes from the beautiful island of Santorini.

2008 SIGALAS, ASSYRTIKO, SANTORINI $21.99
The Sigalas winery is one of Greece's superstars and makes incredible wines on the island of Santorini. Very dry, crisp and fresh with a strong mineral quality and a splash of saltiness. Assyrtiko grapes at their best!

2005 HATZIDAKIS, ASSYRTIKO "BARRELI", SANTORINI $25.99-SOLD OUT-
100% Assyrtiko grapes fermented and aged 10 months in new oak.

2007 ARGYROS, ASSYRTIKO, SANTORINI $32.99-SOLD OUT-

-RED WINE-

2008 SKOURAS, SAINT GEORGE-CABERNET SAUVIGNON, PELOPONNESE $10.99
95% Agiorgitiko (Saint George) & 5% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. In my opinion, George Skouras makes the best value wines in Greece, here is another winner. Easy to drink with all the character you want in the Agiorgitiko grape. A soft, supple, light-bodied red. $9.89 per bottle by the case.

2006 TSANTALI, "IMIGLYKOS NAOUSA" $14.99

2006 TSELEPOS, NEMEA, 100% AGIORGITIKO $21.99
This dry red wine comes from Southern Greece from the Peloponnese region. This region makes outstanding wines from the indigenous Agiorgitiko grapes from the area of Nemea. The Tselepos Nemea is made from 100% Agiorgitiko grapes. Yiannis Tselepos is considered to be one of the great winemakers of Greece and also has some of the best vineyard sites for these grapes. Enjoy now with hearty fare or over the next 2-3 years.

2004 SKOURAS, AGIORGITIKO, NEMEA, GRANDE CUVÉE $26.99

2005 SKOURAS, "MEGAS OENOS", AGIORGITIKO / CABERNET SAUVIGNON $27.99
George Skouras has now been making this Greek blend for 21 years. This is one of the noteable wines from Nemea and has a track record of aging. Buy some, drink some and cellar some. Highly recommended!

2005 GAIA ESTATE, NEMEA, PELOPONNESE $46.99
From the area of Koutsi (2100 feet elevation), regarded by many as the premier site for growing Agiorgitiko grapes in Greece, comes this excellent example of modern Greek winemaking. An outstanding new world wine wine from old world grapes! Gaia Estate is the flagship red wine from the Gaia Winery and only 3800 cases were produced. This dry red wine is both bold and supple at the same time and will benefit with some age. This is a keeper for the cellar and will show wonderfully in 5 - 8 years. Highly recommended.

2006 ARGYROS, "ATLANTIS RED", SANTORINI $23.99
A blend of Mandilaria & Mavrotragano grapes from Santorini. A great example of Santorini's rare red grapes.

Estate bottled Cabernet Sauvignon.

2005 KATOGI AVEROFF - STROFILIA, NAOUSSA, XINOMAVRO $23.99
Nowadays, $24.00 seems like a deal for Naoussa wines, fortunately this is a good deal. Classic Xinomavro character, Pinot Noir-like color, great aromatics, red-cherry fruits, and a splash of dry tannins. Very tasty for the price. 100% Xinomavro grapes.

2005 KARYDA, NAOUSSA $27.99
This fantastic dry red wine comes from the Naoussa wine region in northern Greece. The Karydas winery makes just over one thousand cases and is considered to make one of the best wines from the area. Made with 100% Xinomavro grapes, this red wine is dry, tannic and bold and can improve with bottle age. This is a great example of Naoussa.

2006 THIMIOPOULOS, "URANOS", TRILOFOS, IMATHEIA $32.99
100% Xinomavro grapes from Macedonia. This is only the third vintage of this wine and what a winner. This is a modern version of the Xinomavro grape, unlike the traditional rustic style, and shows outstanding aromas and flavors. I can only assume that this wine will age wonderfully for at least a few years but is just too delicious right now. Highly recommended!

2005 KTIMA KIR-YIANNI, NAOUSSA, "RAMNISTA" $39.99
This wine comes from the hills of Northern Greece from an area that makes age-worthy dry reds from the Xinomavro grapes. The Xinomavro grape is lighter red in color and is very dry and matches well with richer dishes and goes especially well with lamb. This wine is young and needs either decanting or another year or two in the bottle.

2004 DALAMARAS, NAOUSSA, "PALIOKALIAS" $33.99

2005 ALPHA ESTATE, 100% XINOMAVRO $41.99

2005 ALPHA ESTATE, SYRAH / XINOMAVRO / MERLOT $41.99
Alpha Estate is a hot new property located in Northern Greece in the region of Amyndeo. This is an area known for dry red wines produced from the Xinomavro grape. Alpha Estate makes Xinomavro & Xinomavro blends that are atypical of what we are used to seeing from the area. Their interpretation of this varietal is unique and delicious and their wines are made in a modern style, clean, fresh and smooth with excellent depth and complexity. These wines will show you a completely different side of the Xinomavro grape.
